Abstract Submission

Oral Presentations

Faculty members of Greek descent in Ontario are welcomed to submit titles and abstracts  to be for an oral presentation.  Presentation length  will be short (8 min presentation + 2 min discussion). Presentations at the Symposium are expected to cover a wide range of academic fields (e.g. natural sciences and engineering, social sciences and humanities, health and medical sciences, computer sciences etc). The aim of these presentations is to introduce to the rest of the HCAAO community and general audience the main components of your research. Therefore, you are encouraged to, if possible, design the presentations in a way that appeals to the broader audience.

Poster Presentations

Graduate students of Greek descent studying in an Ontario academic institution as well as graduate students working with a Faculty member of Greek descent are also welcomed to submit their abstract to be presented during one of the poster sessions at the 2nd HCAAO Symposium. A monetary award will be granted to the best poster presentation. Instructions on poster format will be received upon abstract submission.

To be considered for either an oral or poster presentation you must submit a short abstract using the abstract submission for below. Please note that abstract acceptance will happen on a first-come first-serve basis, and there will be no peer-review process. The abstracts will be posted online and will be printed on the Symposium’s booklet. On behalf of the organizing committee, we are looking forward to your submissions, and  we hope that many of you will be able to attend.
